Physical Therapy Pain Management

Physical Therapy pain management is an effective and safe alternative to medication for pain relief. Physical therapists can provide gentle manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise and various heat and cold modalities to reduce pain levels while building strength and conditioning.

Hannah discusses the issue of chronic pain in the U.S., the history of pain management and existing pain treatment options. She provides an introduction to physical therapy for chronic pain management and provides additional self-management options and resources to try at home.
